Privacy Policy

Effective Date: March 19, 2026

Your privacy is our primary concern. iDocu was engineered with a strict "Offline First" and "On-Device" principle. This Privacy Policy explains our commitment to keeping your data completely secure and private.

1. Data Collection and Usage

iDocu operates explicitly on your Apple device using Apple's Foundation Models, native VisionKit, and Neural Engine. We do not collect, transmit, or store your documents, extracted data, scanned images, or any meta-data on external servers. All document processing happens locally on your hardware.

2. Analytics and Telemetry

We collect completely anonymous, non-identifiable usage metrics (such as crash logs and generic feature usage counts) exclusively through Apple's built-in App Store Connect telemetry—and only if you have explicitly opted-in within your iOS Privacy settings. This diagnostic data cannot be traced back to you and never contains document contents.

3. Third-Party Access

Because your operational data never leaves your device, we cannot and will not share, sell, or disclose your personal information to any third parties, advertisers, or foreign entities.

4. App Permissions

The application requires camera access to scan documents, and notification permissions to send you expiration alerts. Neither of these APIs are used to secretly record or transmit information over the network.
